What's the difference of installing Ruby on Rails on your Mac vs. Cloud9? What are the advantages/disadvantages? Thanks!

39,199 PointsThe most notable advantage is that cloud9 is a web-based development environment, so you can work on your apps from any computer that has Internet access.
One downside is that if you run into cloud9 specific issues the pool of people to ask is much smaller as it's a newer technology.
