Ah! It worked today! Sorry for the trouble and false alarm.

Sounds like you are installing the wrong version of the extension pack. Make sure the version of virtual box & the version of the extension pack match.

Hey there,

I've been trying to install the treehouse VM a few times and I keep getting the error of "Operation timed out" about a few hours into it.

Everything seemed fine up to that point. Anything pointers on what I should try differently?

Without any context it's hard to say. For starters which application says "operation timed out".

Sorry about that. It's in terminal after entering "vagrant up", it downloads about 50% or so each time I attempt it.

I'll try it again and get the exact message to share with you. Thanks!
