Installing Wordpress on a Subdomain with cPanel

I'm installing Wordpress on a subdomain with Softaculous on cPanel. The installation goes smoothly, finishing with a confirmation message "Wordpress was successfully installed". When I click on the WP admin link to access the site, however, I get "this webpage not available" in the browser.

Did a ton of searching an tutorial watching, uninstalled and reinstalled, but can't figure this out. Has anyone experienced this? What do I do?
