Instance vs. Constructor Function

I'm not understanding the difference between the instance and constructor function questions. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

An object created by a constructor is an instance of that constructor, that means a constructor is a function that is instantiated. Like in the example in the quiz:

var task = new TodoListItem("Do the laundry!");

This will create the task object that is a instance of the TodoListItem constructor.
