Hi, I would recommend to start the " WordPress Development track from Zac gordon". it's a very good class, even if you start from scratch !!

Everything you need is in this track, which may refers to the topics you need, like Html classes, Css classes, PHP classes......

Start at the beginning with HTML/CSS and then watch as many WP tutorials as you can , build up some blank sites and start messing around with wordpress until you feel comfortable with the basics , then build on them bit by bit

no worries, its a long road , but eventually you get there =)

Don't forget the PHP development track. WordPress is built in PHP so if you are going to start tinkering with the back-end nuts and bolts, you'll need PHP.
