what is wrong with this code

you need to use console.printf, not just printf. also the newline escape sequence is \n, not /n, and it belongs inside the string (between the " "):

int numberOfPeople = 3;
if (numberOfPeople < 4) 
{
  console.printf("Your table is ready\n") ;
}
System.exit(0);
