Intellij IDEA and Git Integration

Say i wanted to set up Git to work with all of my IdeaProjects however I am unable to locate the git.exe needed to run Git. I've just finished the Git Basics course here on Treehouse and installed Git through its website. So how would I go about to include Git as a part of my projects?

In IntelliJ IDEA, go to Preferences > Version Control System > GitHub. You can sign up there, or if you already have an account enter your login name and password.
