Interactive and oop javascript

Is purpose of Interactive and OOP courses to introduce us with new methods, objects etc. before we move in Angular, Node, Ember? To be more clear, how much is often to build something with pure JavaScript?

The Interactive and OOP JavaScript courses go over concepts that are integral to those frameworks and programming in general. Also, whether it's done in vanilla JavaScript or Jquery, the stuff done in the Interactive JavaScript course is still how a large portion of JavaScript is done.
