Internet Explorer isn't showing me any errors when in the console in developer tools

I can see where the obvious mistake is in the code but for whatever reason the console is saying there are 0 errors (I didn't fix the error). I did the same thing as the video except I'm using Internet Explorer so I'm wondering if anyone else has had the same issue with Internet Explorer.
