Teaching myself has been an amazing experience and I'm so glad I went this route rather than heading to college.
However, being self-taught comes with it's own set of difficulties that I never thought of before.
I'm at the point right now where an internship type position would be a perfect way for discovering what working in the industry would be like, as I definitely have the skills now that I can contribute to a company. However I don't feel confident enough to apply for a permanent position.
All subsidy programs I've found that would encourage employers to hire interns are for students only. Has anyone heard of tech companies hiring non-students as interns?

Unfortunately, I don't know any company like you mentioned. However, you can always make some freebies that might lead you to an internship. I can see, you had both design and front-end courses. So, my advice would be creating sites to add your portfolio to grab attention.
Hope this helps! :)
