The author stated that he is using textmate but no suggested site from which this can be downloaded. Where can I download Textmate please?

Textmate can be downloaded from the Macromates website.

Also, that particular lesson is a bit older. Sublime Text Editor is more popular these days. It's pricey, but the trial is unlimited.

I started using Notepad++ first and still like using it but also like Sublime text.

Hi Loraine,

I would download a program called sublime text instead. You will find a lot of the teachers and students use it and it has a lot of cool features that come in handy too.

The only thing close to textmate for windows is Notepad ++ another really cool program.

I personally use Notepad++ and Sublime text.
