33,856 PointsHi Pietro, I received my invite today. If you opted for an invite fairly early (mine was the day of), you should get it soon. Also, if you know someone who has an invite, you can use this guide to get access to Inbox.
I downloaded the app a few minutes ago; it's about 35 MB, which is considerable. Excited to give it a look. Hope you get yours soon!

33,856 PointsI think you'd have to use someone's account, and then remove their account from your phone. Unless you can find someone willing to do that online, you'd most likely have a better chance finding someone locally. However, they are sending out the invites, so you should get yours soon.
Here's a screenshot of the app. Google Now is powerful at grabbing email information, so this looks similar, although, more complete.
