Ionic Framework

I recently came across this UI Hybrid framework called Ionic.

It seems its goal is to try and bridge the gap between the feel and performance of web apps compared to native apps. I was just curious if anyone else has had any experience using it, or has any opinions about using a framework like Ionic, and the possible weak points or shortcomings of hybrid apps?

Any input would be appreciated!
