IOS 8 UI image picker

I'm having issues with my self destructing image app everything has been working fine until I've upgraded to ios8 now when i capture and send an image the recipient receives a blank screen and not the image what has been captured. in the log i get a warning of

"Snapshotting a view that has not been rendered results in an empty snapshot. Ensure your view has been rendered at least once before snapshotting or snapshot after screen updates."

if you need snippets of code just ask because I'm not quite sure where the problem lies although this appears in the log as the image picker is loaded
