iOS and Games.

Hello!

I've been wanting to get into iOS game development, but I noticed Treehouse unfortunately doesn't teach that area. I'm wondering if Treehouse is planning to make iOS game tutorials or if anyone has a website that I can learn iOS game development on. I'm mainly focusing on SpriteKit games.

We are working on two courses, on will teach you how to design a game and the other will teach you how to build that game using SpriteKit. Both these courses will be out in May.

I'm on the same boat as you, I would love for Treehouse to have some game tutorials! That would be awesome.

I'm going to jump on this Train! I've been waiting (patiently I might add) for Treehouse to add some game tutorials. Even a simple one would be nice.

As far as I know a SpriteKit course from Treehouse is in the works by Amit Bijlani and will come out later this year.

Till then I would like to recommend checking out iOS Games by Tutorials that I'm currently reading - it's very well written.

Will something like the Mobile Game Design be coming out for the Android platform? Maybe it is for both iOS and Android, It doesn't specify on the description page... I personally (and I'm sure i'm not alone) can't stand the iPhone so I wouldn't be picking one up just to develop a game, especially for a platform I don't own.
