iOS camera effects

I would like to create an app that creates different effects when taking pictures or videos. Currently the iOS comes with some standard effects in the camera app, such as noir, tonal, chrome, etc... but I would like to create some more. Can someone point me in the right direction since there are no lessons regarding camera effect manipulation. Thanks!

Camera+ app is very close to what I want to do.

Check out the CoreImage docs. This is the library you will need to make edits to photos. There are even a few WWDC videos (that you can access if you're a member) about working with CoreImage.

take a look at aviary.com - really useful api for drop in photo editing features. And free to start with #win
