9,523 PointsCan you give people a bit more context in what you are looking to do? This way you may not get a bunch of responses from people who have no interest in what you are looking to do.
There are a lot of talented and eager people on here - so it would be best to give SOME not all information about your proposed idea.

I don't want to sound rude but you've joined yesterday and as this is your first question in this forum don't you want to give other students here at least a little bit more info about you and your visionary project? I can only speak for myself but with "its an app that will completely revolutionize the way in which peeps receive and share info on the go..." isn't something totally unheard of so far :)

492 PointsHello Liesegang, nice to hear from you and dont worry bout sounding rude, you are only speaking out your thoughts..no offence! does it really matter when i join the treehouse platform? meanwhile i believe every app or idea has its USP and its Niche, its cool if its not totally unheard of, the USP makes all the difference init! Facebook wasnt totally unheard of until it popped up a revolutionary twist!!! I am in this forum to seek out a skilled ios developer who can run some stuff with me, maybe pop in some interesting concepts...interested peeps can get in touch! cheers

50,595 PointsWith "joined yesterday" (which of course indeed is completly irrelevant :) ) I was more hinting at your profile - Twitter, Facebook or whatever to get in touch with you because I recon you don't really want to discuss details of a project like this in an open forum :)
And yes, I'm right there with you - if your app would target a rather smaller market (USP) IMHO it really would have better chances to succeed.

I will really appreciate discussing the full idea on a more private platform with someone like you..
