Will there be any videos coming that will explain how to create apps for iPad or how to create apps for both iPhone and iPad at the same time? (I'm presuming this is possible as when you load xcode it gives you a universal option)
Amit Bijlani you're probably the best person to know?

Treehouse Guest TeacherProgramming an app for an iPad isn't very different from an iPhone. It's just a bigger screen. I really want to drive home that point because I don't want to create a divide in our Track. It would be confusing for beginners to see a course on iPhone and iPad thinking that they were very different things which they aren't.

Courses Plus Student 19,663 PointsOff topic here but as the tutor was here I would like to know if you think Xcode will ever to ported to windows?
Amit Bijlani
Treehouse Guest TeacherThat will never happen. Apple is pretty committed to their platform and ecosystem.

2,745 PointsSo everything I have learn't in the current course can just be transmitted straight over to iPad? Same code just different storyboard images?
Would I be presented with the options of more image's e.g. at the moment I create imaged for iphone 4 and iphone 5 display, would there be another placeholder for the ipad image?

Treehouse Guest TeacherYep everything you learned can be applies to creating an iPad app. If you are using a Universal Binary then you will have two storyboards one for iPhone and the other for iPad. In the asset catalog you can add placeholders to support multiple devices (see screenshot below).

2,745 PointsAlso another quick off topic question Amit (I hope you don't mind)
Going through the JSON data capture at the moment for iOS
I notice that the JSON API for team tree house is set in such a way that it just has the category then result
what would you do if the api was to look like this..
http://m.hawkapps.co/api/get_recent_posts/
and for example I wanted to get the name section in author, would it be something like @"author:name" ?

Treehouse Guest TeacherThat's a great question and if you don't mind, could you create a separate post for it to benefit other students? Don't want it getting lost in this thread.
