5,518 PointsiOS logo design: Scaling logo down creates pixlation issue
I am designing my first logo for an iOS app using Sketch. The logo is a simple vector which I designed for a 1024 x 1024 logo. When I scale the vector down for the smaller logos it becomes pixelated. I was under the impression that vectors could scale without loss of precision? What is the best way to design for a logo so that it looks crisp at all sizes?

3,992 PointsVectors are great for creating logos and they do just as you say. They can be changed to any size. The Problem that you are having is not with the vector imaging but because you can make the image any size -And size has to do with how many pixels 1024x1024 is 1024 pixels by 1024 pixels- so when you make a small icon lets say for a low resolution iphone 3gs the icon size is way smaller and has way less pixels so it is going to look pixelated because less pixels are used.
