iOS Question: On scroll the navigation bar collapses for the Facebook & Instagram applications.

Is there going to be a course on the best way to possibly create this functionality? Is it a pretty custom job?

From what I have read, I assume you have to create custom views which replicate the Navigation Bar, then you can create this kind of effect.
