If you are running a server (php or rails app) then you can connect to your machine's IP address at the port your server is running on. Just type your IP address and port in your mobile browser.

This is a good way to bypass the need for the simulator as well as being able to physically interact with your website on a mobile device during development.

Edit: forgot to mention that you need to be connected to the same network in order to do this.

Andy it's a very great soultion!! May you write me an example? please. thanks so much..

I am traveling right now so I am unable to access the same ip from my phone, but the screenshot shows the iPhone simulator connecting to the ip address I am on.

This will work the same way with your phone (assuming you are on the same ip address)

If you download Apple Xcode https://developer.apple.com/xcode/ there is an Apple device simulator within the applications.

the only why you can use an iphone simulator is to download xcode but you need to have a mac to do that; and if you have a mac you can download it from the mac app store hope this helps

Thanks to everybody!!
