Is anyone using or familiar with DesktopServer? I really want to learn how to use Wordpress?

I bought the pro edition of DesktopServer rather than using the free version. I want to be able to build my own website without using the crappy website builder in 1&1 hosting. So I signed up with Treehouse. Is there anywhere you can go to get some hands on training, I learn better that way?

Hi Dominec,

There’s a few Wordpress courses in this site that will set you on your way to learning Wordpress. Personally I use MAMP, however, I’m priestly sure that desktop server is mentioned and taught in the Wordpress theme development track.
