Is being a freelance mobile app developer a good career?

i have been enjoying writing code for iOS & Android OS But wondered can i earn enough to support my self. note also i do not care about living on a tight budget. but if any one has done this please let me know

The best job that you can have is the job that you like doing. A little story for you, when Tony Hawk was younger, he loved skateboarding and had the vision of making a career out of it. Everyone around him tried to tell him that is was a bad choice and he could never support himself with it and do it through his life. He followed his vision and became successful in many ways more than one.

It is cool that you enjoy creating mobile applications, start freelancing it today. There is no need for hesitation. You have the tools, get to work.
