Java

Is BlueJ Ok?

I want to start Java Web Dev track and I've downloaded BlueJ as my IDE. Will BlueJ suffice for doing courses here?

Inteliijidea IDE is taught in "Local Development Environments".

So it is better you start with it.

From the home page of BlueJ

http://www.bluej.org/about.html

I read that it is good for beginners.

But if you are going to go through 'Java Web Dev' I think that Intellijidea is much better, simply because when you start working with Frameworks, it will help you much more...

Thank you Alexander! I'm still trying to decide my path within this site. The web dev may be a bit over my head at the moment your answer is very helpful!
