Is Dreamweaber CC any good now?

I remember hearing Dreamweaver was really bad. I was under the impression that it generates a lot of extra code and code that's hard to read.

Is that still the case today with their latest version?

I'm talking about the visual builder part of course where you mostly just clicking on buttons, and than you might go in and try to modify the code (if it's not bloated/hard to read).

I'd stay away from DW. The UI is bloated and is a complete mesh and the design view is a joke . There are much better editors out there and are free. Try sublime, Brackets, Notepad++, if you need FTP just use filezilla or fireftp I guess.

Brackets also has a live edit in chrome so any changes made to code will be shown in the browser without the need for refreshing.
