Is everthing in Wordpress courses built on previous knowledge?

Hi

I'd like to ask about the WordPress Courses. The first one and the one for the themes. Are they built upon the knowledge taken from HTML and CSS courses? meaning that will I be able to understand everything in those after I complete HTML and CSS deep dives?

The How to Build a WordPress Blog Project requires no previous knowledge.

The How to Build a WordPress Theme Project requires you know how to use WordPress, HTML, CSS and a tad of jQuery. You should also know PHP.

You won't be working with HTML and CSS in the "Wordpress Blog" one but you should have a good understanding of HTML, CSS, and PHP before you do the "Wordpress Theme".
