5,099 PointsIs it hard to make a videogame using Android?
Well, the title is pretty self-explanatory...So, is it? And if it is say why and if it is not then say why not. What do I need to know in order to do this? Thanks!

42,016 PointsIt is more difficult to make a video game than just a regular app on any platform, not just android. Of course that depends on your background, but yes it's hard.
You would have to learn how to use frameworks such as box2d, unity, etc to handle physics and graphics, in addition to learning java and the android sdk. It is a complicated process. You should do the android tutorials on treehouse to get a grasp of java and the android sdk before moving on.

Treehouse TeacherThis is something we do want to cover in the future! But for now, we can't help too much with the gaming aspect of things. There are totally different libraries or platforms you will want to use. However, understanding the foundations of the platform (which our courses do) will certainly help. They just won't help with anything related to gaming specifically except for practice with programming logic and constructs. :)

5,099 PointsAlright thanks for answering. Right now I cannot decide about which language to learn. I want to find a way to make money. I have a wide amount of knowledge when it comes to video-games, but not about programming yet. I thought of making a website related to gaming, but I do not know where to begin, or even if it is a good idea.
