Hi All,
Firstly I will explain what experience I have with programming.... NONE, I'm a total beginner.
Now for the details.
I have been working my way through the Python courses (which i think are great compared to other tutorial sites.) and have found that during python basics i passed the code challenges with relative ease, but since then i have struggled. I often find myself scrolling through the forum looking for hints and tips to pass the challenge. Also the standard of code others are writing in the challenges seems far more advanced than what I'm capable of.
I guess what I'm asking is, do the rest of you find the challenges a bit hard the first time round?

of course. the challenges are called challenges for a reason. they are meant to be challenging and engaging.
I find that if im struggling with a challenge, going back and watching the video a second time usually helps out quite a bit

you may want to go redo the basics course to solidify your grasp on the intro material so you are more prepared for more difficult aspects of Python. I have done lots of courses 2-3 times so the information sticks. One run through is usually not enough to take away most of the information being taught in my opinion.

3,775 PointsThank you for the reply. I'll keep that in mind next time I struggle with a challenge, for now I think I will redo the last section (dictionaries) to see if it helps.
Thanks again.
