Is it normal to forget HTML tags?

Is it normal to forget HTML tags when you are in the beginning?

Completely normal, and it happens to everyone, no matter what stage they're at.

That's what HTML Dog's HTML tag reference is for.

Thank you for sharing that site.

Completely normal

I've been looking at html tags as actual vocabulary in that you as the designer needs to know when to use which tag and when. Every tag has a meaning, and I think it's normal to look up tags in the beginning. After a while I feel like the tags will just become as easy as formatting a letter or an essay. I find that writing my generic doctype/head/body tags to begin a website are actually second-nature to me. I can instinctively create those necessary tags immediately. It just takes exposure I think.
