iOS Build a Simple iPhone App with Swift Deploying to a Device Running on a Device

Is it possible to convert an individual developer account into a company account later without paying again?

I would like to enroll now, so I can test my app on my iPhone, but we do not have our company yet. Is it possible to enroll now as an individual developer, and later on convert this account to a company account without paying again the annual fee?

Yes, you can convert https://developer.apple.com/support/ios/account-management.php.

But I'm not sure what you mean by without paying again? You do realize Enterprise program costs $200/yr more than individual member, right? So I don't quite get how you can not paying the difference?

I'm sorry, I think you misunderstood me. I would like to convert it to a company account, not an enterprise account. Here is the comparison chart: https://developer.apple.com/programs/which-program/

Oh, that one. Yeah, you can, some of my friends did that too in the past. But I believe you need to contact Apple to do that, and of course, a D-U-N-S Number is required. And no, they won't try to scam you by demanding more payment.

OK, thanks for the info. I'll look into the D-U-N-S Number, I have never heard of it before.

you don't need to worry about it, when you have registered your company, you will have this number.
