Is it possible to follow the Swift course without having a Mac?

I am interested in learning iOS development and Swift but I don't have a Mac yet ( will probably buy next year). Can I still follow the course and learn?

The answer to this question used to be NO! But nowadays, Yes, you can.

There's things like MacinCloud that you can rent a Mac in the cloud, pretty amazing.

And there's Virtual Machine software (e.g. VirtualBox) that would let it install a Mac as VM.

You could always just watch the videos but I'd advise you take notes then because you're going to miss out on a lot not being able to do it yourself!
