Is it possible to install WordPress on Chromebook? The videos talk about installing on Mac and PC.

Since there are only videos about installing on Mac and PC, and the files to download are only for Windows and OSX, is it even possible to download WordPress on a Chromebook?

Hi Kevin,

In a localhost won't be possible since a Chromebooks does not support software that emulates server environment. However you could try installing the WP on a Web Hosting (If you have one), also you gonna need a Domain Name, so in this way you could access the wp-admin. Still for web development I won't recommend you to use a Chromebook since they do not have enough resources to run different kinds of plugins and programs, that might be difficult to work with.

I simple way to try it out would be to use a service like Cloud9 to work with wordpress on a chromebook. Your results may vary.
