HTML How to Make a Website Adding Pages to a Website Build the Contact Page

Is it possible to recover a deleted file in Workspaces and if so, how?

I inadvertently deleted main.css. Is there a way to recover it? I am already going back to rebuild it (good practice), but curious about recovery options in case I do this again. Thanks.

Hi Roslynn,

Unfortunately there is no way to recover a deleted file, or not any I know of.

Keep in mind that you can 'backup' your workspaces by clicking File > Download Workspace.

This way you'll always have a backup of your files and if deleted by accident, just re-upload them (of course not all the changes will be there, but it's better than nothing). :)

I have been having some awkward experiences in Workspaces... after creating a new page for Contact.html, I was able to click on it, but not able to select and therefore not able to display. I tried deleting it, but then my About.html page disappeared. I had to recreate it. Long story short is: be patient with workspaces... if you become impatient and perform an action, that action may be applied to unintended items and you could loose files.

Thank you!
