Courses Plus Student 15,815 PointsIs it possible to remove my name from an "Ask to answer" list for certain topics?
I took a few iOS courses when Swift was released and earned 900+ iOS points. Since then, I've gotten a lot of answer requests on the topic, but most of these questions are WAY beyond my knowledge. Is there any way to remove my name from the "Ask to answer" list for iOS? I feel like a jerk when I don't respond, but my standard "Wish I could help" response is a bit tedious.
If this doesn't exist, it might be a good feature for the future...maybe somewhere in a user's profile they can check or uncheck boxes for each topic.

28,149 PointsI concur here. I also have the same problem. I get a lot of requests on Ruby. I'm fascinated with the language, but you don't want me to answer Ruby questions right now. :)

33,856 PointsThere's currently no way to do this. However, I think as the app matures, this will possibly be a feature. On a side note (and even though I have it checked), I do not receive emails when someone tags me in the forum. It's been this way for a while. Anyone else getting that?

26,676 PointsI agree that this would be a great feature as I too get questions in python and ruby far beyond my skill range.
Dustin Matlock, I can't remember the last time I got an email for a mention, normally I just look in my notifications.

33,856 PointsThanks for confirming that. It appears to be working.

39,199 PointsIt would be useful to tie in asking someone a question into if they have completed that badge. If the question isn't tied to a badge then perhaps only the top 90% which for many categories is 1 or 2 thousand people.

33,856 PointsThat's a great idea. I went ahead and forwarded the suggestions in this topic to support for consideration.
