Is it possible to reset a workspace to its initial state?

I have modified a course workspace and want to start from the beginning again. Is there a way to do this?

Hi Dan

I'm not aware of a proper way to reset one. The only things I can come up with are as follows, please tread carefully though if you opt to delete one.

If you want to just start again you could use the Workspaces link from the navigation bar on the left. Find the Workspace, click the Settings icon (looks like a cog/gear) delete the workspace and create a new one. BE WARY HOWEVER in case you delete more than you intend to.

Alternatively you could create a new Workspace from within Workspaces and see if you can find a suitable template to start from (although Javascript doesn't appear to have many) and then I guess you could copy and paste anything over that you may want to keep from the work you've done previously.

Hope it helps!

Thanks Stephen. That does exactly what I want.

Great! Glad it helped.

This would be a fantastic workspaces feature as I find myself frequently going back to completed challenges to refresh my memory. Unfortunately, since I've completed the exercise, the code is already fixed.

I'm sure I wouldn't be alone in desiring a "reset" option for workspaces. Does anyone know we go about suggesting features?

I would love a reset workspaces option, especially if you could reset it to the step of the lesson you were on.
