Is it possible to unpack a APK in Android Studio?

Hi !

I have an app i paid a developer to make about one year ago.

I then had all the files but due to that my computer cached and i did not have a backup for that file all i now have is the .apk file.

I have tried to contact the developer but he is not responding.

So, is it possible? I have tried to use http://www.decompileandroid.com/

But the files seams to not be normal?
