Is it possible to work with a Chromebook?

Hi there! So as the title asks i would like to know what you people think about the possibilities of working with web development using a Chromebook?

So far i have only finished the HTML and CSS Foundations courses and i have been getting the feeling that it works quite well. But how about javascript and stuff like that that i will learn about in the future? Is it possible to work those areas using a Chromebook?

If not i wouldn't really have a problem buying a Mac or a PC but i am actually getting quite fond of my Chromebook!

What do you all think? Thanks in advance for your opinions and advice! :)

Nitrious.io is a way to develop online by using a chromebook ... you can set a ruby on rails box (or other types of boxes)and develop your website / webapp online.

They have a limited free account option or a paid option.

Two more tools for you.

Thank you very much for your replies, i really appreciate them :)

No problem, and though it's a little dated here's some more inspiration for you: My Web Design Workflow on Chrome OS.

Thanks again, starting to get the feeling that i will be fine using my Chromebook!
