2,184 PointsIs it worth completing the iOS foundations unit?
I have just finished the Ribbit app and the next thing on the iOS track is iOS foundation. The thing is under the description it has a warning saying that it is going to be taken down on may first because it has outdated information. Is it worth doing it? some of the topics in it sound useful notifications and location but do the methods used in the version of iOS at the time still work now?

42,016 Pointsits pretty outdated. I did it and didnt get much use out of it aside from the core location section. But it wouldnt hurt if you have the time.

42,016 Pointsmost of them do, however there are lots that have been changed. Fo example the didUpdateToLocation FromLocation method is gone and instead you have to use didUpdateToLocations. When things dont work you just have to figure it out for yourself and go through the docs.
