is one badge everyday is enough?

Hi

How many videos/badge you watch everyday?

Just let me know from your experience is one badge enough for learning everyday?

And if the badge is long and difficult how do you break it?

I just want to hear from other people so I have more ideas! because I'm struggling. In the beginning I used to watch many many videos a day and then I discovered that this is not good because sometimes it is difficult to make the content sink in.

And by the way, do you watch everyday even in the weekend?

Regards.

Hmmm.. I am very much of an achievement wh__e, so I try to earn as many badges as I can every day including weekends and holidays :P

Joke aside, you should proceed with a pace that is comfortable to yourself and your schedule. Never put yourself under stress while learning. But at the same time, you should also keep a good pace so you don't lose motivation. Sometimes 1 badge a day is enough, but sometimes you might opt for multiple badges. You are always welcomed to re-watch videos you have watched before and try the quizzes and code challenges again without penalty to make sure things you learned last week stick.

If you are coding, make sure you code with the instructor and pause the video and rewind if necessary to make sure you understand the steps. Make sure you understand that the goal is not to earn badges, but to learn.

If you feel like it is getting boring or a badge section is too long, consider watching videos from another topic, such as the design or business track, to complement your progress. Those are usually more philosophical and require a shorter time to complete a section.

Don't miss the forest for the trees. You can run through videos at 1.5x speed, rush through the quizzes and get a lot of badges, or you can prioritize learning & understanding. And if you really want to KNOW the material you need be executing it outside of Treehouse regularly.
