Is possible to use a Wordpress template for a Github page? I've heard Github runs on rails and doesn't support PHP.

I'm gonna use a Wordpress template for a client's website but i would love to use Github pages for testing it. I tried some simple PHP on Github but It didn't work.

GitHub Pages will only serve static files like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. There's no access to any back end like Rails or PHP.
