Is Ruby dying?

is Ruby Dying? if yes, what can we do to keep it a live.

I really love Ruby. I have never felt free and happy in my coding life except with Ruby. for the last few days, i have watched different ruby conferences online and it obvious that they are feeling sorry that the community is fading.

I don't want to stop using Ruby, and i wish if what i mentioned above is not true.

so here is what i want to ask.

Is Ruby dying?

If yes, Why ? and What can we do for it?

Jason Seifer, please guide me. And, please let me know what other languages you are using to fight internet crimes.

Ruby is actually far from being dead. Ruby is seen more in startup companies than ever. In fact a big part of the foundational code for Treehouse is Ruby. Javascript is more common for larger companies but when it comes to Ruby developers it's ease of use, is great for budgeting development periods and much much more. If you want to support the Ruby community more, then do what other language supporters do. Start a project on GitHub or Codepen. Create a blog and propose the amazing uses of Ruby. Javascript may be one of the most popular languages out there but Ruby has plenty of life in it for much intended future use in the industry since developers like you and me can keep it alive.
