1,463 PointsIs Swift a C language?
Question explains it all, I was just curious if Swift is technically a C Programming language like C# and C++. If I am not mistaken C# was created like Swift by Windows under similar circumstances that Swift was, so I assumed it is? Thanks :)

47,913 PointsSwift is not considered to be a C-based language, though it draws inspiration from C-based languages, and even offers a bridge to Objective-C (Apple's other language, which is considered to basically be C with some cool additions)
