Is Teamtreehouse down or running slow?

My cursor keeps disappearing from Andrew Chalkey's "Handling Routes Review" code challenge at the end of the "Handling Routes in Node.js" sequence of videos.

Seems like I can click inside it to begin editing but if I release the cursor and move the arrow to edit somewhere else it doesn't turn into a mouse again.

What do I do?

I've had issues before with the console locking up on me. If this is where it's hanging up for you as well, then this trick may work. Click View -> hide console. Then click view-show console. It'll reload the console for you.

Hi Jennifer. Where is this View option you're referring to?

I'm a little confused as you reference a video and then you say a code challenge. Are you working on a code challenge or are you working on code in the console?

No, I'm not working in the console.

I'm working on a code challenge at the end of the course.

Ok, my fault. I thought you were working in the console. That's a great question. I just launched the challenge and cannot reproduce the problem. Out of curiosity, have you tried it from another browser? This will likely have to be reported to support and it'd be interesting to know if it's cross-browser or isolated to one browser.

:sparkles:

That was it. I switched from Firefox to Chrome and it's fine now.

Thanks.

You're quite welcome! You might want to send a note to the Treehouse support at some point though and let them know of a potential problem
