Is the Console the same as a terminal?

If i didn't use work spaces would you just do the same shown in this video in a Terminal?

Yes- provided you have python installed (If you are running windows you have to install it separately).

Yes, you're correct! The Console is equivalent to the Terminal.

Simply put, YES. Terminal is in your Computer's hard drive, search for it in the "Spotlight" or "Finder". The console is through Treehouse, but yes, they serve the same function.
