1,280 PointsIs the Java Track a good track to prep for a JAVA SE8 Cert exam?
I just want to make sure that this is going to help me towards the JAVA SE8 certification exam. Would this be the case?

6,325 PointsHi!
I think that Java Track is great introduction into Java World. It has a lot of concepts and practices that will prepare you for a future job as an Java Developer. It will teach you things that you will use everyday. I was surprised how many topics it cover and things like shortcuts in IDE... It's really useful at work!
However, to pass certification you will need to know a bit more. You need to go deeper into Java language. Java tracks will help you, but you also need to dig for knowledge by yourself. There are a lot of helpful resources within every lesson. They will show you directions, but still, Java tracks are not made to prepare you for certification.
What I can recommend is just to try Java tracks (I'm sure you will love it!). After course you need to review your knowledge. The best way is to go through all of the topics that you need to cover for certification and make sure that you understand them.
PS. I think that employers care more about practical knowledge then certification :)
Good luck!
Best Regards, Hubert
