Is there a similar option for a link that directly pulls up a Facebook message to a user?

Is there something like this: <a href="http://twitter.com/intent/tweet?screen_name=screenname"> to allow someone to send you a direct Facebook message?

No, Facebook doesn't have that option to send you a direct message. Your options are either to direct them to your email, send a message via the website using php to your email, or using third party software to send you a text message (twilio or zapier). Doing the third party software is a bit complicated and will take time.

Alternative:

1) Facebook has an email [yourusername]@facebook.com

2) Facebook does have a comment script that you can use to place a comment field that can alert your Facebook but it doesn't work as a Instant Message.
