4,066 PointsIs there a way to get the code that Kenneth Love wrote in the Hack-n-Slash videos, to use as a template?
I would rather just add to his code, rather than starting from scratch, but I can't figure out how to access his code. Thanks.

Treehouse Guest TeacherThe very last video has a downloads tab with the final code in it. You can also open the Workspace from that video to get all of the code already in Workspaces.

5,074 PointsI'm sure I'm way too late to be useful to Heather, but in case anyone else is looking at this:
I type in all the code to my workspace as I'm watching the video. This requires some facility with a keyboard. I have to pause and wait to finishing typing every now and then, but not too often. Someone who doesn't type as quickly might have to do this quite often. It serves the purpose you need, though -- in each video, I already have the code Kenneth starts with, because I typed it in the previous video -- and it serves another important purpose as well, which is getting me used to actually typing/using the code. If I type something in slightly differently than Kenneth, then I get error messages I have to fix before I can move on, which is important for my learning. It forces me to notice details that I might have glossed over if I were just watching, and not doing at the same moment.

4,066 PointsThanks! Opening the Workspace from that video didn't work for me -- it only showed the welcome file, but I was able to get the code from the downloads tab.
I wish we could get files that have the code not fully finished yet, with mostly only the comments that were typed in the video. Templates make it more clear for me to understand what I need to do myself, before moving on to the next section and video.
But thank you for this course! It has taught me some news things about Python.
