22,421 PointsIs there any major performance differences or considerations for using `prepend()` instead of `insertBefore()`?
I'm able to use both methods successfully but was curious to why the Node properties were being used instead of the ParentNode properties.

231,269 PointsMDN cites prepend as "experimental technology" with incomplete legacy browser support. So for production software, Best Practice would be to use insertBefore instead.
Relative performance is probably not an issue, but would likely vary with different browsers.
