Java

Is there any resource out there to be able to learn Java for Netbeans effectively?

Hi All,

I'm on slow and steady progress towards becoming a Java Developer and I love the content for Java on Treehouse so far. My goal is to be creating Java Applications to be able to share on Github and use for a portfolio.

The problem is applying Java to workspaces and applying it in Netbeans seem to be very different and I'm struggling to find some good tutorials for documentation for it. Youtube has a few videos here and there but they're far from Treehouse standard and don't make sense in a lot of places. Looking through the entire Netbeans Documentation seems a slow and messy approach and maybe it's the best way but I was just curious if there are any Netbeans Java developers out there who could assist?

Many thanks,

Adam
