Is there any way to do this project through parse instead of through Instagram?

I would like to make an app separate to Instagram. I would change it up a lot so it wouldn't look so similar. Is there a way to make this app using the backend like parse instead of going through instagram?

Parse is just a back-end you just need to do the app like you wanted then you call the back-end to save and load any stored data
